Since 1964 Cantine Povero has produced fine wines using native vines grown according to criteria of respect for the environment and eco-sustainability in the 50 hectares owned by the family.

Located in Cisterna d'Asti, where Roero, Langhe and Monferrato meet, Cantine Povero perpetuates the tradition and art of good wine, passing down the passion and culture of peasant work from father to son. The use of the most modern cellar technologies and the care with which each phase of the production process is followed, from the ripening of the grapes, to the refinement of the best parts of wine in oak barrels, to the user of wines from Poor Cellars a high quality standards, and the offer to offer connoisseurs a complete choice of the best wines of Piedmont.

The company has received numerous awards over the years, but what satisfies the founders most is the continuity guaranteed by the professional integration of the latest generation, confirming that the passion and art of wine has been passed on to their children as irreplaceable. cultural heritage.

The products range from a variegated quality rose, all excellent: the Roero area offers fragrant whites and elegant reds, that of the Langhe structured meditation wines. Next to these all the qualities of Monferrato, with its fresh and fruity aromas. Sparkling wines, dessert wines and grappas close the circle.

THE SYSTEM

The collaboration with Win & tech was born from the desire to underline how important is the union between technology and eco-sustainable development in the wine making process and especially in a delicate phase such as bottling.

Technology at the service of business growth and quality standards: pre-bottling filtration was therefore entrusted to a Win & Guard plant, built in a double line configuration alternating with three stages serving the two bottling lines. A state of the art "of the technological proposal of Win & Tech, which also integrates the in-line wine recovery and re-dosing system, thus attempting a continuous production exercise without limits. A completion of the plant, the integrated CIP with which all the lines and the two fillers are automatically washed and sanitized.

The complete automation has embraced the principles of eco-sustainability established by the Povero cellars, which have found a union in the closed cycle washing proposal, thus allowing significant savings in terms of water and energy consumption, compared to the previous management.
