Cantina Lunae Bosoni

WGuard C - Microfiltration and CIP System

Cantina Lunae is located in the heart of Lunigiana, a border area between Liguria and Tuscany. Born in 1966 from the commitment of Paolo Bosoni, the company has known how to stand out for the quality of its wines over the years; today Cantina Lunae can count on 120 grape producers, whose production is added to theone of the 45-hectars own vineyards.
The Cellar is of fundamental importance for the DOC Colli di Luni, since it is one of the most significant expressions of a territory that has its roots in Etruscan times and that since 177 BC. (year of foundation of the Roman colony) was one of Etruria's ports of reference.
The passion for the territory, as well as for the wine, has led the company to create an area of research, development and hospitality where art, food and wine coexist to give a complete experience to visitors.
The attention to the quality and the enhancement of the territory have led to numerous awards over the years, among which stands out the Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso won in 2017 by the Colli di Luni Vermentino DOC "Etichetta nera".

OUR SYSTEM

The collaboration between Cantina Lunae and Win&Tech is an example of how not only technology is not the opposite of tradition, but also that technology that can be used to transmit even more effectively the expressiveness of a territory through its wines. The Win&Guard C system in of Cantina Lunae is part of a bottling line completely renewed in all its parts. The system, equipped with three filtration stages, allowed the customer to significantly improve the traceability of the product and to obtain a more advanced control on the bottling process thanks to the completely automatic management of the filtration. The lower variability of the process and the reduction of human error are also particularly important in the sanitization process of the line, which also takes place automatically and that is validated by a final check which guarantees the complete removal of the chemical products from the surfaces.

Furthermore, the pairing of the monobloc filling system with a dedicated on-board accessory provided on our system has allowed the customer to simplify the labeling process of sparkling wines. This innovation ha increased the productivity without consequences on the quality of the wines.
